Definition
Research Use Only (RUO) means a reagent is intended exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. It has not been reviewed or approved by any regulatory body for human or veterinary use, and it is not manufactured or handled to the standard required for clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic application.
Who should handle these products
RUO reagents should be handled only by qualified laboratory professionals trained in proper handling of research chemicals, in a facility equipped for laboratory-grade storage and use.
Storage and handling
Peptide reagents are supplied lyophilized. Store at −20°C and protect from light until reconstitution for laboratory use. Repeated freeze-thaw cycles and exposure to ambient light or heat can degrade reagent integrity and are the buyer's responsibility to avoid once the product is in their possession.
Excluded uses
RUO products are not intended for human use, veterinary use, consumption of any kind, in-vivo administration, diagnostic application, or any clinical application. Purchasing a product from this site does not grant any right to use it outside its stated research purpose.
Buyer responsibility
It is the buyer's sole responsibility to ensure their purchase, possession, and use of any product complies with all applicable institutional, state, and federal regulations, including any institutional biosafety or research-oversight requirements that apply to their organization.
